Greetings! I am Freddie Gonzalez, and I am honored to run for the Tulare City Council to represent the residents of District 4. As a dedicated Tularian, my roots run deep in this community—from attending our local public schools to graduating from Fresno State University.
A Legacy of Community Service
I firmly believe that true leadership is rooted in service. For over 15 years, I have actively volunteered with the Tulare Rotary, and I have spent a decade serving the Chamber of Commerce in various roles, most recently as the Chairman of the Board.
Beyond my professional commitments, I remain deeply involved with local fitness centers that offer essential mentorship and safe environments for our youth. Furthermore, I am passionate about supporting our High School District, serving on several Career & Technical Education advisory boards. By bridging the gap between education and industry, I help prepare students for meaningful careers.

My dedication to this cause was recently honored by the Tulare County Office of Education, where I was named a Champion of College & Career Collaboration.

While I currently lead a successful career at Galaxy Theater, I never forget my

humble beginnings in a Section 8 migrant household. Those early experiences fueled my mission to advocate for our children, ensuring they have access to quality education, sports, and professional growth opportunities.
It is this passion for our people that drives my candidacy for City Council. I am fiercely committed to Tulare’s success and will work tirelessly to strengthen the foundations of our prosperity, public safety, and sustainable development.

Public Safety

At the heart of every community is Police & Fire. They're the heartbeat that every citizen relies on in critical situations. Tulare has been blessed to have two amazing departments with great leadership! My objective has always been to support & deliver these fine men & women any resources and tools necessary to enable them to succeed. It will always be a priority of mine to empower them. My long-standing relationship with our first responders delivers the confidence needed to make our community safe & forecast for any future needs.

Our Youth

Creating the foundation for our children to succeed is imperative. Most importantly, giving them a bright future to establish their career path & raise their families in Tulare starts now! As parent & leader in my organization, I've been committed in pursuing in every capacity the best for our youth! It's our responsibility to lead them in a positive direction for our future.

Future Success

We have a lot of growth & potential for Tulare. Evaluating every opportunity in a strategic manner is necessary to forecast prosperous growth. It is also just as important to collaborate & effectively communicate with my constituents, council, & city staff with proper needs and concerns one may have. The mindset will always be how we can leave our community in a better position & continue to evolve in unity. You can count on me to stand up & advocate with conviction for what is best for Tulare.
